学好一门外语有多重要

There are many rats living in the forest near the foot of a hill.

山脚附近的森林里住着许多老鼠。

They are a family.

他们是一家人。

One day in summer, mother rat brings her children to look for food.

夏天的一天，鼠妈妈带着她的孩子去寻找食物。

Suddenly they hear a voice of a cat.

突然，他们听到一只猫的声音。

The baby rats are very frightened.

小老鼠非常害怕。

They hide behind their mother at once.

他们立刻躲在母亲身后。

Mother mouse thinks it’s a good chance to give these little rats a lesson.

老鼠妈妈想这是给这些小老鼠上一课的好机会。

So she says to them: “Don’t be afraid.”

所以她对他们说:“不要害怕。”

Then she shouts like a big dog “Woof, woof, woof!”

然后像一只大狗一样 “汪汪汪！”

They hear the cat runs immediately away.

然后他们果然听到猫马上逃跑了。

The mother rat says to the children: “You see, it’s very important to learn a foreign language.”

老鼠妈妈对孩子们说:“你们看，掌握一门外语是非常重要的。”
